Russian Surveillance Plane Accidentally Shot Down By Syrian Forces, Moscow Says

The Il-20 surveillance plane disappeared from radar over the Mediterranean Sea near the Syrian city of Latakia. Russia's defense ministry says it happened amid airstrikes by Israeli warplanes.
