MEAGHAN POTTER

MY PRACTICE FOCUSES ON THE sublime experiences when we interact with Australian wildlife in a contemporary world. Using charcoal, watercolour and ink on sheets of paper cut from a voluminous roll, I create expressive artworks of Australian flora and fauna.

Drawing is a way to explore and learn more about my home and the surrounding landscape of the Blue Mountains. As well as my series of bird artworks, I have more recently begun to depict other Australian wildlife, at .M Contemporary in Sydney.
