For one crown

• Fat eighth floral print fabric such as Liberty Tana lawn

• Fat eighth natural linen

• Cotton batting at least 20 x 60cm (8 x 24in)

• 3m (3 1/4yd) of 20mm ( 3/4in) wide packaged Liberty bias binding – see Note

• Hand-sewing needle such as a milliner’s (straw) size 10

• Paper for pattern

• Compass (for Design 3)

• Turning tool, satay stick or chopstick

• Sewing machine with 1/4in foot

• General sewing supplies
