When you’re at work and things get busy it’s all too tempting to reach for a chocolate bar or something sweet, fatty and easy. You can’t change the fact that work gets busy but you can avoid that easy reach for some bad food by having good food ready and on hand. CINNAMON ALMOND BALLS

These delicious protein balls are the perfect healthy treat to take to work to have with your morning or afternoon cup of tea. Packed with protein, dietary fibre and healthy fats, these balls will keep your blood sugar levels nice and balanced and sugar cravings at bay.

Makes: 12 bliss balls

2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp raw honey
½ cup almond meal
¼ cup almond butter or tahini
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup coconut flakes

Place all ingredients in your food processor and blend until well combined.

Roll into small balls and store in fridge in airtight container until ready to eat.
