Pulling up in front of Toni Salter’s neat suburban home, you’d never guess what miniature Eden lies behind the two-storey brick house.

Toni started gardening when she first got married 26 years ago, so she’s pretty good at it by now—so good that her business name is The Veggie Lady. She runs general gardening workshops and offers therapeutic gardening programs in her lovely backyard in Currans Hill, southwestern Sydney, where the climate is cool temperate with hot summers.
