Materials

♦ 25cm (¼yd) brown floral print fabric (top outer panels)

♦ 50cm (⅝yd) blue feature print fabric (bottom outer panels and key strap) — see Note

♦ Fat quarter cream tone-on-tone print fabric (outer pockets)

♦ 70cm (¾yd) pink solid fabric (lining, inner zipper pocket, handles and handle connectors)

♦ 105cm x 55cm (40in x 20in) bag foam (such as By Annie’s Soft and Stable Foam Interfacing) or fusible fleece (such as Pellon Thermolam 971F or Vilene H640)

♦ 1.6m (1¾yd) medium-weight fusible interfacing (such as Pellon Shapeflex SF101 or Legacy Shapeflex L-SF101)

♦ 4cm x 8cm (1½in x 3in) firm fusible stabiliser (such as Pellon Peltex #71F or Legacy #71F)

♦ Magnetic snap, diameter 18mm (¾in)

♦ 4 O-rings, diameter 5cm (2in) or four 4cm (1½in) rectangular rings

♦ Swivel hook, 18mm (¾in) wide

♦ 20cm (8in) dress zipper to coordinate with the lining fabric

Note: Seam allowances of ½in are used throughout unless otherwise stated. If you are using a feature print fabric and wish to fussy cut it to centre a particular part of the design on the bottom outer panels, you may need more fabric, depending on the size of the design and the pattern repeat.

Trace the shapes from the Pattern Sheet onto paper, label them and transfer all the markings. Cut them
