End your shin splint suffering

SHIN SPLINTS IS A PAINFUL AND COMMON INJURY.

The exact cause isn’t known; though we used to think it was inflammation of the leg bone, with soft tissue painfully pulling on the bone.

Risk factors include over-pronation of the foot. This is when the foot lands on the ground and the foot and ankle roll inwards, creating poor biomechanical movement in the leg which, when repeated while running, can cause shin splints.

There are very few studies done which identify what exactly causes shin splints and little scientific-based evidence for effective treatment.

SELF-DIAGNOSIS

If you have shin splints, you will experience a gradual onset of pain along the inside part of the lower leg,
