CHICAGO - There is no doubt in my mind that Tiffany Van Dyke's tears are genuine. Her fear for her husband's safety in prison is rational. Police officers don't fare well behind bars.
Last week, we learned that Jason Van Dyke was transferred from the Illinois Department of Corrections to a federal prison in Connecticut, where he reportedly was placed in the general inmate population and beaten in his cell.
Most of us will never experience the pain of having a husband, or any loved one for that matter, snatched from our lives
