Being Brave

Dell Fechner was born at the gold mining town of Cracow in central Queensland. She is now retired and lives on Queensland’s Gold Coast – where she pursues painting as a hobby.

Art training for this lady began at the age of 12, through a correspondence course. Her father built her a studio, and paid for the lessons. She is proud to relate that her teachers are now famous Australian artists.
