      I love reading Debbie Macomber. Her novels always leave me feeling good and glad I took the time to sit down and read it. This is a short story, novella or Kindle Single, so it is not as in depth as some. I have gotten out of order in reading this series, so some parts were repeats for me. As I said it is very short and you can read it in an afternoon.

      A short novella about Jo Marie who owns the Rose Harbor Inn in Cedar Cove. Her handyman comes over to see where she wants to put her rose garden and when they go back in the house, Rover, her dog does not come in with them. She is frantic and they set out to look for him. Meanwhile, the highschool jock and his brainy tutor are beginning a cautious relationship. Rover is out to help them along. A fun and quick read.

      I guess I just didn't know what to expect with a short story. But that was more like a thought than a short story. Far too short. The writing was fine, but there was really no character development or plot. Really disappointed.

      Lost and Found in Cedar Cove by Debbie MacomberHave enjoyed this series and glad it ended at the 20th book or so and this is one of the offshoots from that series.This is the story of Jo Marie and she's widowed and living at her inn after her husband had died in the war.Her handyman, Mark loves cookies and she makes them often. She plans an open house and wants a rose garden started for her open house.While they are planning the garden positioning the dog Rover, a rescue dog ahs gone missing, not following them back into the house.The inn is a healing place and Rover she feels was a special gift from her husband. Story also follows Amanada who will be tutoring Connor. I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

      What a wonderful addition to the Cedar Cove stories. This is a very short but loving story about Rover, Jo Marie's rescue dog getting away from her and having to be located. Jo Marie has help from Mark looking for the lost dog and he is finally able to locate Rover who was busy making friends with Travis and Amanda, local teens. Its another wonderful uplifting Debbie Macomber romance.

      Playing catch up with the Cedar Cove series and reading some of the books I missed. I enjoy the Cedar Cove Hallmark series and look forward to the return in 2014.

      I have already read the books in the Rose Harbor series (which were entertaining), since I handle marketing for B&B inns, can relate to the stories.

      A short e-story about Jo Marie and her intentions of planting a rose garden and Mark (the not so personable handy man). Her loveable dog Rover is missing all sorts of things happen, as usual with the characters of Debbie Macomber. Would recommend The Inn at Rose at Rose Harbor and Rose Harbor in Bloom for all Debbie fans.
