About this audiobook

Logan from Echoes of Scotland Street is back with his own smoldering story, as the New York Times bestselling On Dublin Street series returns…

Logan spent two years paying for the mistakes he made. Now, he's ready to start over. He has a great apartment, a good job, and plenty of women to distract him from his past. And one woman who is driving him to distraction…

Grace escaped her manipulative family by moving to a new city. Her new life, made to suit her own needs, is almost perfect. All she needs to do is find her Mr. Right-or at least figure out a way to ignore her irresistible yet annoying womanizer of a neighbor.

Grace is determined to have nothing to do with Logan until a life-changing surprise slowly begins turning the wild heartbreaker into exactly the kind of strong, stable man she's been searching for. Only just when she begins to give into his charms, her own messy past threatens to derail everything they've worked to build…

    *Recieved an ARC from NAL*
While I enjoyed this read, it still didn't top On Dublin Street...

The first half of Moonlight on Nightingale Way sucked me in and kept me glued to the pages, but as soon as the living arrangements changed and things became routine... I lost interest. My reason for pushing on was Logan. He was everything a book boyfriend should be... hot, arrogant, kind, sexy, smart, mysterious, and so on... I loved watching his character develop as the story progressed. He definitely pulled me in as reader and made me want to get to the ending to see how everything unfolded.

The story itself had moments where the plot was really good with lots of angst, but it also had bland moments where you wanted to skim. My focus kind of disappeared about midway. I kept reading, but the words weren't impacting me enough to absorb what I was reading. I found myself kind of lost in the sentences... I liked what I was reading, but I wasn't attached to the story.

Overall, I think maybe it was the overlapping of characters that turned me off because it was distracting. Every time a character from one of the other books came in I was so focused on trying to remember who was connected with who that I lost the main characters of the story. Don't get me wrong... The writing was really good and the story was enjoyable, I just wasn't head over heels for this one.

I still recommend the book to the readers who appreciate the series. I know many will love it.

Loved this final book in the On Dublin Street series. I enjoyed the storyline, as it added in a nice and different element of bringing the couple together, because what do you do after 5 other couples!?! Also loved the many epilogues - one from each couple. That was a nice way to end it!

This was the perfect ending to an amazing series. The characters were awesome, real and had some pretty developments. The story and plot were damn good, it was sexy, sad, funny. Everything worked.

Such a pity that the last book in the series sucked big time! wow this book is bad!
There is no plot, its just sooo boring, 80% of the story is about maia! I could not care less about Maia!

I could not finish this book!

This is the sixth book in the series. I highly recommend starting from book one as there are so many characters involved. You may be confused if you are not familiar with many of them already. Plus, the series is great so far and I recommend starting from book one anyway. All of the books really have family involved, but this one took it to a different level. I was expecting something with custody to happen towards the end, but was also happy when it did not. This one was a little slower at times. I still enjoyed it though.I cannot believe it is over! I still have two novellas, but will be sad when it is done.

Ever live in an apartment and have the neighbor from hell? Keeps odd hours? Doesn't know the meaning of curfew on loud? Grace has these type of murderous feelings for her hot, playboy neighbor, Logan. One of their porch encounters throws both Logan and Grace together to be united in helping a young teenager who may or may not be Logan's daughter. Samantha Young keeps the story moving through this life changing event for reader with humor, delight, sadness and happiness. Grace's commitment to help Logan has an unlikely friendship develop that leads to something more.

"There are moments in life that change us irreparably. Sometimes those moments are grand and dramatic, tragic or beautiful in their intensity. Sometimes those moments are quiet and small, like footsteps fading behind a closed door. The subtlety of those moments can sometimes camouflage their impact. "

That quote summaries perfectly the readers journey that is witnessed for the hero, heroine and young teenager, Maia. I felt the characters and their reactions were believable and honest; never over the top angst. My only disappointment was to not hear more of Maia's journey. Both the hero and heroine had overcome impacts early in their lives. This upheaval for Maia had to created some additional issues, but not enough pages in the book.

This is the point of the review where I recommend if it can be stand alone. Definitely, until you get to the epilogue. Logan and Grace's story is a wonderful HEA. If you've read the series, there are introductions to previous characters. These introductions are not confusing to someone new to the series until that epilogue. Ms. Young finishes up the Dublin Street gangs stories within; it would be confusing if you haven't read. But as an epilogue isn't necessary for the stories complete closure - you'll know when to stop.

    Sigh.
    Sigh.

The On Dublin Street series is over. And i'm so sad. I loved this series so incredibly much. And it couldn't have ended more perfectly with Moonlight on Nightingale Way. I really liked Grace and Logan's story. Like the rest, it was unique and really kept me hooked.

Grace really, was different from all the other female leads. It really felt like a fresh take for the series. She had no tie to the past characters. And that was refreshing. Even though Logan was introduced in Echoes of Scotland Street, he really wasn't a huge character, so he really felt "new" as well.

I liked that in addition to their love story, they factored in a love story of another kind. With out giving anything way, this book just felt more mature. If you look at the time span of the series, the characters age around 10 years. So while Grace is in her late 20's, Logan is in his 30's. More mature.

Overall, Moonlight on Nightingale Way was wonderful. And I absolutely adored the series as a whole.

I devoured this in one day. It was a pretty perfect end to the series and I am heartbroken that it is over. Logan and Grace’s story starts off pretty funny. Logan is Grace’s new neighbor, and she is tormented by listening to his parade of women screaming out in ecstasy. Logan thinks Grace is a posh, stuck up English woman, and he finds amusement in watching her get all fired up.

Logan’s life is turned upside down with the arrival of a daughter he thought didn’t exist, because the mother claimed to terminate the pregnancy. When Maya arrives during one of Grace and Logan’s fights his world is rocked. Although Grace doesn’t like Logan she is drawn to them and steps in to help. Grace, Logan, and Maya made a great team. I adored Maya and although Logan has lost faith in himself as a good man he steps up. Maya’s life is horrible and she is desperate to find a family that will love her and care for her like a parent should. Grace is the perfect woman for Maya to have in her life because they both come from awful mothers. Grace has a lot of damage from her childhood and it is clear that this halts her having a healthy relationship, but she is a rock to Logan and Maya. It takes a while for Logan and Grace to really get it together but through it all their devotion to Maya never wavers. Once they go all in it is the three of them against the world.

I loved the epilogue and catching up with all the couples. Nate and Olivia are still my favorites and I loved the little epi on them the most. I am not an avid re-reader but I can honestly say the On Dublin Street series will always be a favorite and I would read again. I especially love the audio versions because the narrator’s accents are fabulous and add authenticity to the books. I can't wait to see what's next from Ms. Young.
