About this audiobook
I met Sarah Kate Erickson when I was twenty-one years old. I was lucky enough to keep her for seven years before a tragic accident stole her from me. She didn't die, but sometimes I think it would have been easier if she had.
I lived in a haze for those four years after the accident. Catering to her every need, even though she hated the very sight of my face. I tried to hold on to her and the future that we were supposed to build together. But you can't hold on to someone that doesn't exist anymore.
It wasn't until I met Jesse Addison, a barista at the local coffee shop, that I realized I didn't just lose Sarah that tragic night; I lost myself as well.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I just couldn’t finish. I got to chapter 27 but it was just contradictory and boring.
I really tried to finish for a few more chapters but it just went on and on and on. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I absolutely love this book. It is like any other aly Martinez book it breaks you then puts you back together. Love Brett. Love the narrator's also
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book was pretty emotional: the flashbacks of Brett holding his bloody wife; the enduring friendship between Caleb and Brett; the pain and loss these two endured. You could have knocked me over with a feather when the whole Brett and his wife mystery came out. I felt for him-the life he had, the life he has. Overall, I really liked it. I'm going to read the next book as soon as I can.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Other than some editing errors I have to say I loved this book!!!! Changing Course is a wonderful unique story about a guy who was lucky enough to find love twice in his life and learn to deal with all of the crap that comes with that. Tragedy is something I am all too familiar with and Ms Martinez did a wonderful job of putting the reader directly into the heads of her characters. Brett and Jesse really know how to experience life....both positively and not so positively. Read this book...I am sure you will like it!
