About this audiobook
Before Tyrion Lannister and Podrick Payne, there was Dunk and Egg. A young, naïve but ultimately courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall towers above his rivals-in stature if not experience. Tagging along is his diminutive squire, a boy called Egg-whose true name is hidden from all he and Dunk encounter. Though more improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros, great destinies lay ahead for these two . . . as do powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits.
Featuring more than 160 all-new illustrations by Gary Gianni, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have collection that proves chivalry isn't dead-yet.
Praise for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
"Readers who already love Martin and his ability to bring visceral human drama out of any story will be thrilled to find this trilogy brought together and injected with extra life."-Booklist
"The real reason to check out this collection is that it's simply great storytelling. Martin crafts a living, breathing world in a way few authors can. . . . [Gianni's illustrations] really bring the events of the novellas to life in beautiful fashion."-Tech Times
Editor's Note
The Watch never ends…
This book is the perfect cure for those “Game of Thrones is over” blues. It takes place a century before the events of the books and follows a young hedge knight, Dunk, and his squire, Egg. Dunk is always trying to do the right thing, which usually lands him in trouble. Egg is a brilliant young boy who brings a lot of comic relief and is a great foil to Dunk. Told with a little more humor than “A Song of Ice and Fire.”

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great story. I do not want to ruin it for you. If you like the authors style and want a refreshing take on the 7 kingdoms then this is for you. The narrator is a pleasure to listen to. I really hate when reviews drop tidbits of storyline or detail but the characters you wil fall in love with are worth noting.

If you're itching for more Game of Thrones give it a listen, but if you're not, probably not worth your time. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Absolutely called me from the first word thoroughly enjoyed. A lot Tamar then Game of Thrones but still very much great read.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Classic George RR, but much kinder and gentler than I’m used to from him. Hilarious as well. Great characters and tales, extremely well told by a master of his craft.
