About this audiobook
Little changes can make a big, big difference! In The Little Book of Big Change, psychologist Amy Johnson shows you how to rewire your brain and overcome your bad habits—once and for all.
No matter what your bad habit is, you have the power to change it. Drawing on a powerful combination of neuroscience and spirituality, this book will show you that you are not your habits. Rather, your habits and addictions are the result of simple brain wiring that is easily reversed. By learning to stop bad habits at the source, you will take charge of your habits and addictions for good.
Anything done repeatedly has the potential to form neural circuitry in the brain. In this light, habits and addictions are impersonal brain wiring problems that result from taking your habitual thinking as truth, and acting on that thinking in the form of doing your habit—over and over. This book offers a number of small changes you can make in your everyday life that will help you stop your bad habit in its tracks.
If you want to understand the science behind your habit, make the decision to end it, and commit to real, lasting change, this book will help you to finally take charge of your life—once and for all.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An outstanding presentation of the 3 Principles take on habitual behavior and thought. Dr. Johnson does a great job of bringing recent concepts about the brain, and real life examples of the working out of implications in the lives of her clients.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book has really shifted my thinking and unstuck my mind from sticky habits, allowing me to view them with control & clarity. Free Wont the opposite of Free Will is my new mantra :)
This book is unique & I think Amy's advice is the most helpful I've ever heard, do yourself a favour & listen to this audio book ! - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Very biased writer with weak substance. Basic Buddhist philosophy but not effectively applied. The book should in reality be about negative emotions such as fear and shame. The writer is very arrogant in thinking her approach is effective for actual addictions such as coke, heroin, alcoholism, smoking or even weed. Her approach is slightly better than placebo for those. I guess this book is valuable for people who never read and mostly for women altho also for men who struggle with negative emotions.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5If you are expecting anything other than mindless old wives tail internet bought phd claptrap you will be mightily disappointed.
not one shred of proven psychology in a pseudo christian diatribe about lizards and stuff. These quacks should be locked up along with the parasitical evangelicals they mimick. Utter utter nonsense. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Helpful book on managing your choices. Choices become habits that become patterns.
