He was greeted by archangels and his deceased father who led him through the tortures of hell and revealed the toxic cycle of violence that has plagued his family for generations. He even reviewed the struggles of his previous lives which, in many ways, reflected those he still faced in the present. Finally, he experienced heaven. From the angels, he learned lessons of spiritual health that they insisted he bring down to earth—to do so, Dr. Parti knew he had to change his ways.

      Wow, I could not stop listening to this audiobook . I really like the fact that he did not pressure the reader that anyone religion is the true one and that the spiritual realm goes way beyond one certain religion
      It’s probably a good thing that the monastery rejected him in his early life , because it forced the Doctor to go his own path. That’s what monks probably miss out on. Makes me think of the quote from a Eskimo shaman in one of Joseph Campbell s book (only through pain can one see the true meaning of life). And the Buddha that (love is the affirmation of the pain).

      Honest story with life change application addressing human frailties and provides religious unity with the true underlying qualities that will enhance life here and beyond. Good guidance practical steps that avoid unsound distractions. It shows that changing long held habitual patterns is oossible for anyone. All wrapped in a day to day commentary of life unfolding.

      Es una versión moderna de un cuento de Navidad. Es decir, hombre egoísta y materialista que ve el daño que ha causado así como las llamas del infierno que le esperan y es dado una oportunidad de enmendar sus errores. Me ha gustado mucho, pero como llevo ya unos cuantos libros leídos sobre esta tematica no puedo decir que contenga elementos nuevos.
