About this audiobook

Lucas Thorn wasn’t born a cheater. All it took was a single moment—say, a certain disastrous incident on the night before his wedding—and boom. Reputation destroyed forever and always. So now he owns it. He has a lady friend for every night of the week (except Sundays—God’s day and all), and his rules are simple: No commitments. No exceptions.

But a certain smart-mouthed, strawberry blonde vixen is about to blow that all to hell.

Avery Black has never forgiven Lucas for cheating on her sister. And suddenly being forced to work with him is pretty much a nightmare on steroids. Of course, it does afford her the opportunity to make his life as difficult as possible. But no good revenge scheme comes without payback. Because he didn’t become the Lucas Thorn without learning a few things about women.

Now Avery’s lust for vengeance has turned into, well, lust. And if Lucas stops cheating, it’s definitely not because he’s falling in love…

Hilarious. Haven’t laughed this hard at an audiobook... ever. Have already recommended it to two people and finished it 2 days ago. I was gut laughing at a few parts... you should definitely listen to it. The narrators are SPOT ON, too. Perfect.

Very funny, loved both narrators. Cheating is not fun, of course, but this is a fluffy, light-hearted read for some chuckles.

This story had me entertained from beginning to end. There were so many hilarious moments. It would make an awesome movie! The banter between the two main characters was really great. I wouldn't doubt I'll listen to this one again at some point.

    Lucas Thorn.

His names even hot writing it.

I've read a few books by Rachel and I actually think this was my favourite. I listened to Cheater on audio and it was absolutely hilarious. Avery and Lucas have a complicated past and everything just happened wrong. As wrong as anything could go, that's the way it went at every point in their lives.

As time goes on they find their way back into each others lives but now Lucas has a girl set for every day of the week and Avery is barely scraping by with an unwanted pet spider and a peeping tom neighbour. Lucas and Avery have such a comical relationship and they both bring out the childish tendencies in each other. I loved them together and the fake relationship trope. Everything happened extremely quickly though. One minute I thought we had passed a month but actually, it had only been a week and everything had happened. I don't know how they found all the hours to fit it all in.

Ohhh if you need laugh this one is for you, being based on the guys POV is so much fun, without the raunchy crude sex of Tangled, Twisted, or Tamed loved that whole series but this is my new favorite.

Sweet Story!! I got so angry with the CHEATER!! Probably because I’m a woman haha!! But I’ve enjoyed the story and off coarse the narrators!!

I think a lot of listeners or readers gets put off by the name of the book!

Don’t let the name fool you! Have a go and read/listen! You won’t be sorry!

This was pretty awful. Extremely unlikable characters that were impossible to either relate to or understand. The snarky jokes could have been funny, but unfortunately were simply overused with no real character substance. It was just really boring.

I listen to a lot of audiobooks, and I have to say, while the male narrator had a great voice for the male characters, his female voices sounded like extremely annoying cartoon characters.

I ended up finishing this book in about a third of the time listed because I skipped so much of it due to boredom. I don’t plan on reading or listening to the next book in the series.

Typically, cheating is not an amusing subject. But I have to admit that this book has to be the funniest story I've read in ages, I laughed and giggled from start to finish, not that I endorse cheating at all, I don't, but because I loved Ms. Van Dyken's brilliant, humorous writing.Lucas Thorn wasn't born a cheater, he had a girl and was getting married, until an unfortunate incident changed every thing, and he thought "well, what's the point, I'm being accused of cheating, I might as well take a hold of the title". But he doesn't feel like a cheater because a different girl every night who know about each other isn't really cheating...is it...or so Lucas thinks anyway. And in enters Avery Black to the story, she was nearly his sister-in-law and now dislikes him intensely, Avery now is his employee and is determined to make his life hell. You don't want to be caught in the cross fire between Avery and Lucas, they didn't get along at all thanks to Avery and when The Mom's are thrown into the mix, the outcome is hilarious.A great book, I can't wait for Thatch's story next.
