- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Horrible book, don't waste your time, nothing worth learning, disaster
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Get your pen and notebook out! Lots of great resources in this book and anecdotes and ideas! Highly recommend :)
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Very very basic book that keep repeating that it is possible to do it with some examples. Pretty much that's it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5There's a selling point I see in far too many start-your-own-business books that is a near deal breaker for me. It's when an author tries to wow the reader with how much money they're going to make or how much freedom they're going to have if they only follow business advice x, y and z. It's an easy hook, and I find it terribly disingenuous. I realize that most people need to be constantly reminded of the potential reward in order to do something hard, or take a new chance on something, but I'm far more interested in the process and all the potential dollars signs the author throws around is, at best, a distraction. At worst, I stop trusting the author's methods. The Million-Dollar, One-Person Business by Elaine Pofeldt commits the above sins but in small doses.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent book, very generous author and highly recommended for any online business owner
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book didn’t offer any advice that isn’t common sense. I feel like calling it a beginner book would be generous. It’s more a book for someone who has never been involved in a business, ever. There were too many stories about other people which had little practical value, and what could have been covered in a sentence was covered in multiple paragraphs. There isn’t any kind of detailed innovative strategy offered here, but simple ideas that could be condensed to a couple of pages of bullet points. Also, no offense to the author, but she shouldn’t be narrating her books. She isn’t a good reader and oddly enough sounds like she’s reading the material for the first time.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good book but very basic and limited in practical knowledge to apply in the real world.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good book for newbies looking to venture into the world of entrepreneurship. For those already with a multiple six figure business there are a few golden nuggets in there but definitely more for the beginner crowd.
