About this audiobook

INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

The #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us and It Ends with Us—whose writing is “emotionally wrenching and utterly original” (Sara Shepard, New York Times bestselling author of the Pretty Little Liars series)—delivers a tour de force novel about a troubled marriage and the one old forgotten promise that might be able to save it.

Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.

All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?

I fell less in love with the people in this one, but it was still a really good book.

I absolutely loved this book! Such an amazing story about marriage. I wasn't expecting it to be about infertility though. I wish I had known that before hand to better prepare myself. I experienced infertility and while I was able to get pregnant with IVF it is still a difficult thing to read about. I know Colleen Hoover doesn't like to reveal much in the descriptions for her books but this could definitely be a trigger for some people. I had this problem with Verity as well with the abuse/violence against children. Unless I missed a warning it somewhere? Anyway Quinn and Graham are wonderful characters who I quickly grew attached to in the beginning. During most of the book I was thinking how great it would be to also have Graham's POV as well and the ending didn't disappoint with that! It definitely makes you think about your own marriage and how you can do better to get thru those Category 5 moments. I highly recommend!!

“I probably didn’t notice because sadness is like a spiderweb. You don’t see it until you’re caught up in it, and then you have to claw at yourself to try to break free.”Part of the reason I loved this book so much is because it got me really reading after several months of trying to fit books in between classes. The chapters came in manageable sizes and I was able to tear through this book very quickly, despite having just started my summer semester.I really loved it. It was not at all what I was expecting in the best way possible, as have been a lot of books I’ve loved recently. This one got me feeling. It got me feeling a LOT. I had to cry for most of it, and that was great. I love a book that makes me feel everything, so I couldn’t help but love this one.I couldn’t help but root for Quinn and Graham’s relationship. They were lovable and relatable characters. They were imperfect and real. The alternation of “Then” and “Now” chapters made this book all the more compelling. Having the parallels of their beautiful beginning and their struggle to make things work in marriage was heartbreaking and made it impossible to stop reading. How can you stop reading when you see them happy one moment, and the next, you have no clue if their marriage will survive? If you’re looking for a quick romance or a novel that will make you feel something, this is definitely the book for you.

Actually the better of the Hoover books I read. If you like these types of books (domestic romance with familial and marital issues) this wasnt a half bad offering. Just not my cup of tea. Also, not talking about issues till they boil over is my #1 relationship book pet peeve. A close second to that is quick unrealistic fixes that smooth everything out. Both of which this book had.

I always struggle with writing reviews for Colleen Hoover's novels, I don't feel that I have the ability to explain with words how her novels make me feel. Every book of hers makes me think, leaving a lasting impression with a story I can recall years after reading. All Your Perfects was such a heavy read for me, one that, despite the tears, I loved so much and I think it might leave the most lasting impression out of all of them. It's an adult romance, featuring characters who are married that have weathered many storms together. Quinn and Graham have the kind of love you read about in fairytales, it's beautiful and lasting, but their marriage is real and marred by imperfections. Those imperfections eat at them and in time the strength of their love is not enough to carry them, in All Your Perfects Quinn and Graham reflect on the love they once had and the love they share today.

“You say that like marriage is a Category 5 hurricane.” “Not all the time. But I definitely think there are Category 5 moments in every marriage.”

Quinn and Graham have an unconventional meet-cute story, but it's the first drop of water on their blossoming romance. They've been together seven years, they know each other better than they know themselves, and yet they're still struggling to keep their marriage afloat. Told in alternating timelines, Then and Now, All Your Perfects follows along with the two as they fall in love and fight for that love. The Then chapters give us so much background into who the two are as individuals, who they were in those first blissful days of dating and falling in love, but mixed in with those sweet chapters are difficult ones. We also see them as secrets pile, as regret and sorrow and hopelessness take over their home. Colleen Hoover tells a story about love, about marriage, about the strenuous times that we oftentimes cover up with shiny paper and a bright bow. What Quinn and Graham have is beautiful and strong, but we all know that love can't carry a relationship alone.

"I promise to love you more when you hate me than when you love me."

The difficulties Quinn and Graham face as a couple, as individuals, are real and painful. The chapters where they struggled, where the truth and the hurt bubbled out of them, were so challenging to read that I needed the Then chapters to break up the heavy. For me, it just might be the most relatable book I've ever read. I could put myself in their shoes and many times I connected parts of the story to my own. I also found it to be uplifting, though I admit I cried roughly the last 20% of the novel. There's wisdom in the pages, the secret to their love is inspiring, the way they work so hard to overcome the hard is a testament to their faith in one another, and there's a lot of power in the words that Colleen Hoover so carefully crafted.

"People can’t always control who their circumstances turn them into."

All Your Perfects is an emotional tale about love, the kind of love you promise to another forever despite the Category 5s you may have to through. I loved the impassioned fight the two gave to save their love and I was so moved by the way they shared. Quinn and Graham are like real people for me now and as I read All Your Perfects my heart ached for them and hoped for them and wanted perfect for them. Of course, like all of Colleen Hoover's book titles, this one has a background and the message about perfect was such a good one. I can't make anyone read this book, but I recommend it one hundred percent. There's magic in these pages, life changing, beautiful magic.

For me, this was Colleen Hoover's best work. It tells the story of a couple in love who have battled with infertility. All Your Perfects shines a light on the very real feelings and struggles a couple goes through who desperately want to have a child and it just isn't working. It's heartbreaking to read and at the same time, very much what many people go through. The way Quinn and Graham's relationship was described was excellent.

All Your Perfect was such a heartfelt, deeply engaging story that was beautifully written by Colleen Hoover. It tackled a sensitive subject matter in a thought provoking way and it was a lovely reminder to revel in the good things and the good times in your life and not cast such a shining light on the bad. It was hard to put down and I read it almost in a day, I loved how I didn’t know how it would end and I highly recommend All Your Perfects.

It is no secret that I love Colleen Hoover, so I was very excited when she had a new release come out. I have seen so many people talk about this one, and how amazing it was. I was a little worried about going into this story, as I knew it dealt with infertility issues.Ok! So, this story really hit home for me. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for seven years and it is just not happening. Colleen Hoover did a great job describing the feelings one may feel about themselves, about others, and the toll infertility can have on your life. I cried off and on throughout this story for Quinn and Graham, but also for my husband and I. It is hard to put into words how you feel about a story that really captures what you, yourself, is going through; how you can feel like you are failing yourself and others. However; even though I really connected with this story it was not my favorite book of hers. I usually am on the edge of my seat and All The Perfects was a little slow and I found myself getting bored and waiting for something else to happen. I am not used to that while reading one of her books. Do not get me wrong, it was still very good and very powerful. I think this is a very important story and one that everyone needs to read (whether you suffer from infertility or not). I think it helps others see how even a question can be so hurtful to someone facing these challenges. I loved the ending. We have two fur babies who are like our children. Yes, it is still hard but having them makes it a little bit easier.Overall, I still enjoyed it.

My thanks to Netgalley, Simon and Schuster Canada, Atria Books, and Colleen Hoover for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own and independent of receiving an advanced copy.So I was not the biggest Colleen Hoover fan. I did not enjoy “It Ends With Us” (please feel free to check out my review) even though it received a high rating. Most people I had talked to were huge fans of Hoover’s writing. I recently had a discussion with my sister-in-law about Hoover and she, also a big fan, said oh check out “it Ends With Us’ and you will change your mind! I had to tell her that I gave it 2 stars. So I wasn’t holding out much hope for “All You Perfects”. I kept an open mind because I hadn’t read enough of her books to really decide if I like her writing style or not. So glad I did.“All You Perfects” is about a couple and their marriage. It alternates chapters between the past and the present so you can understand where they started and how they got to the point where they felt like they were breaking. Quinn and Graham meet in a hallway, in front of an apartment where their significant others are having an affair. Imagine coming home after a trip, excited to see your fiancé, finding this guy outside the apartment, telling you his girlfriend is inside screwing your fiancé. Do you open the door? Eventually. Do you eat their Chinese food they got delivered - definitely! Do you have revenge sex with the hot guy who was also a victim? They don’t, surprisingly. But a bond was formed, an extra spark was lit and they do the right thing and wait because what if they could have something special - blah blah blah. They do get together and they are insanely attracted to each other. Their love is true until they start having infertility issues. Years of wanting a baby and not being able to conceive wears away at their relationship. It begins by not wanting to talk about it because you don’t want to hurt the other person and ends up that you just don’t talk. You have grown so far apart from each other you don’t know if there is any way forward, or any way back to the other person. This novel was a slow burn for me. You get to fall in love with Quinn and Graham while they fall in love with each other. Every marriage has issues and distance is often a result so I found their issues universal rather than situational. It was a 3 star, marching along, I though oh good beach read, nice chick lit, but nothing grabbed me. UNTIL. THE. LETTERS. I don’t want to go into too much detail because I don’t want to reveal any spoilers but it was a game changer for me. I was enjoying it much more than “It Ends With Us” but once it hit that spot, I just was moved. My heart melted and I might have cried a little, well okay I cried. I wasn’t expecting it to have the depth and heartfelt-ness that it did based on the first part of the book. Up to that point, the writing was good, the characters were well drawn but the writing during those letters changed everything for me. It went up to 4 stars for sure for me. I loved the resolution and the ending. It was real. A beautiful story that illustrates a real marriage, the love and the challenges, what it takes to stay in it and whether it is time to walk away. It reminds you that so much of life is in your hands and how you choose to look at things can shape your reality. Reframing things can be powerful if you choose to be grateful for the blessings you have instead of focusing on what you don’t. Also, making assumptions about other people’s feelings is a dangerous road and usually leads to the wrong conclusion. Especially when you are in a negative space. It felt real and although it is their story, it could be anyone’s story.
