      This story was stunning! What I loved most about it was that it wasn't just about one thing, but it also didn't feel directionless. It wasn't just about a girl struggling with her weight, or family pressures, or divorce, or sexuality, loneliness, or teenage romance. It had all of these things without making it go in too many ways and seem sloppy and unresolved. I like that she is so real. She is self conscious about how she looks, but it's not to the point where she wants to actively try to change that about herself. She just seems to have the same self conscious thoughts that most teenage girls seem to have. Her's are just little size different. I loved how mature she was yet sometimes a little selfish; she always seemed to realize that she was being selfish and wanted to correct it right away. She is a strong female lead that I would want young girls to hear from. She doesn't wallow in her own self pity any longer than necessary (because let's face it, we all do sometimes) But she doesn't stay there long. She has healthy activities that she can do when she's stressed, and her relationship with her friends and family members is dynamic and not mundane. What a great character!

      WHY HAVENT I READ THIS SOONER???? There are a couple trigger warnings but it wasn't something I had to choke down; I couldn't put it down!!!

      Sweet and surprisingly deep. The weight of the main character is part of the plot in a completely unexpected way. A great, fun read.
