They served in Venezuela before ...view moreAvis grew up in Bolivia, where her mother served as a missionary for New Tribes Mission. After moving to the United States as a young woman, Avis married Ron Bodin. They served in Venezuela before returning to serve in the capacity of administrators in Sanford, Florida.
They remained and served at the international headquarters of NTM until they retired in 2007.
Ron passed away in 2014. Avis still lives in the NTM retirement community in Sanford.view less
