- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Sidney Sheldon is quite the writer and that is reflected once again in The Stars Shine Down which follows a young girl with an abusive father who shrugs off the shackles of her small town and father to rise to the top of the real estate development world, then towards the end it looks as if one too many risks have been taken and everything is going to crumble back down. It's a good page turner which draws you in with a decent female protagonist however I couldn't help but feel the ending was a bit of a let down, I felt like there could have been more too it and detail what actually happened to the main characters. Despite that it was still an entertaining read.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Didn't really care for the main character. She had a terrible childhood that made her become obsessive with owning property and having the best.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5bad.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Lara Cameron is a young and beautiful self-made tycoon. She doesn't realize that a spurned lover will stop at nothing to get revenge against her. I give this book an A+! because it was so good.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This is the life story of Lara Cameron, a small town girl who makes it big in the construction business. It's a story of her highs and lows. She uses hard work and deception to get her ends.I'm reading [[Sidney Sheldon]] after a gap of more than ten years. Back the I really enjoyed his books but reading it now I found this book very shallow and lacking any literary content.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not much conflict. Maybe a little boaring.
