About this ebook

Illustrated by Star Olson

Fall into a world where beauty is a facade, and one elf is pushed beyond reason to rid herself of the smooth-skinned curse.

Curve of Her Claw tells the tale of a young elf trying to earn a place in the tribal memory. The elves in this dark fantasy, however, have little in common with the tall, beautiful faerie kind who often condemn humanity for brutal natures. These elves make up for their lack of the traditional virtues with a desire to improve themselves, to make their tribes stronger and wiser. A pretty goal, you might think, until you learn just how this can be accomplished.

The eBook reprint includes an added bonus of a Story Behind the Story section telling how this tale came to be.

Tiriel crept through the woods, her feet making little noise against the late summer moss. She paused before stepping into the human’s clearing to tug on her woven-leaf tunic. Her fingers tucked loose, tar-black hair behind pointed ears. She checked her claws, sinking her sharp teeth into a long, thick nail and tearing it off with a savage jerk. Her face contorted into a frown as she tapped the hated, blunt ends against her legs.

She hesitated for a moment longer before stepping into the firelight that spilled out the window. She shivered, knowing the glow revealed her high cheekbones and smooth, pale-blue skin, unflawed by time or experience.

Tiriel had fought for this chance, demanding the
