About this ebook
Cooking does NOT have to be something to ‘slave’ over in a kitchen. When you get children involved in cooking you have the opportunity to show them that cooks can be creative! You can show them the fundamentals of math, science, nature! You can also show children that chefs have excellent hand-eye coordination and be constantly attentive to reading and writing!
It is not a secret that the United States has a serious obesity problem. There are many factors that have made obesity such a huge issue. While this book contains some healthy and nutritious meals, it is NOT solely about that. Even though this book may contain some less than ideal meals (if your goal is for your children to eat only ‘healthy’ meals), it does serve a very important function. This book helps to get children involved in preparing their own meals, and meals for guests. When children become involved in preparing their own meals, they learn the importance of eating nutritious meals. It is also important for children to learn to have fun cooking meals as well.

This is a no-cook recipe the children can mix with their hands. Flavor it with any of the liquid flavorings in the supermarket, such as strawberry and lemon. If you want, you can instead divide it into three portions and add a few drops of food coloring to tint it yellow, red, and green. The knead a small amount of flavoring into each one. This recipe makes about 1 1/2 lbs of
