- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5If you're a fan of the series, the scripts contain interesting background and insight into Julian Fellowes' intent for specific scenes and characters as well as dialog that was edited out. He shares his feelings for the characters and the actors who play them.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Julian Fellowes has given us an instant classic with his much beloved Downton Abbey. This volume shows us the script from Season One. It shows us what was shot on camera as well as what was deleted. Julian gives us little "methods to his madness" along the way, telling us about life at the time period as well as his ideas for the characters. The book is illustrated as well. A must for any Downton Abbey fan!
