It's okday. It's a romance novel, light reading when you dont' want to be too intense.

The premise had potential but it’s just bad. The hero is abusive and makes everything out to be the heroines fault

It's ok. But it's too dumb when he finds out she was telling the truth, he's mad because she didn't try harder to convince him. She should have left.

    Abusive relationship.
Interesting premise and a promising start, but a cringe-worthy book.

Hero throughout behaves abusively towards the heroine shredding her reputation, character to bits in the most disgusting way, not believing any of her protests of innocence.

And at the end behaves abusively with her for NOT convincing him enough about her innocence, making it out to be a vindictive plot on her end.

Either way he's the one making HER go on a guilt trip, despite HIM behaving very badly.

Terrible, almost text-book example of an unhealthy, abusive relationship - while he has a toxic relationship with her, but he doesn't allow her to get out of it either, making everything her fault.

I'd hate for young girls to read this and believe this is what a passionate romantic relationship would look like.

A quick easy read. Funny how the hero hears the truth but never listens and then blames it on the heroine for not being clearer. Men!
