- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/550 Museums To Blow Your Mind Ben Handicott and Kalya Ryan 2016 Lonely Planet3.5 / 5.0I love museums. Not just art/fine art museums, although I love those too.....any museum, anywhere. I just love them. The more bizarre the museum, the better.......This brings together 50 unusual museums from around the world, and there are some great ones featured. Many I never knew of. But there are several missing that I think should be in there....like the Museum of Death in Hollywood and the Bearded Ladys Mystic Museum in Burbank......but there are many here I intend to explore.American Classic Arcade Museum in Laconia, NHBurlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, NVGrammy Museum in Los Angeles, CA (who knew....i lived here and never knew!)Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, AZInternational Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine Clown Hall of Fame in Baraboo, Wisc.......and a few others. I enjoy books by Lonely PLanet so much, this one as well.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Not really funky, some more interesting museum should have been in the book like Gigers Museum in Gruyère Switzerland.
