    Book Synopsis

This e-book begins by stating the problem of why we do not experience well-being (the condition of being contented, happy, and successful), and provides two solutions.

The problem, simple enough, is separation from who-you-truly-are, the basic energy of Goodness from which we are all connected. This unfortunate misinterpretation, based on having been conditioned to believe we are separate from our true nature, creates an infinite number of other problems. All problems are merely an off-shoot of this one, and they lead to a subtle feeling of fear that we think is real.

The book offers two solutions. One solution comes about by re-connecting with Spirit—I call it Source energy—through meditation and attunement. Through practice, we need to train our minds to notice that thoughts are just thoughts, and they are not real in and of themselves.

The second solution to the problem of separation comes by discovering our authenticity, and by intentionally co-creating and expressing that self in work and life. This book also includes additional ways to handle stress, tension, and overwhelm, and how to play full out in the Game of Life while freely flowing in Well-Being as one’s true nature and daily experience.

    Introduction

Just the sound of the word well-being sends a slight shiver down my back. "Ah ... that’s what I want," I hear the voice in my head say. "Hmm ... where did that voice come from, I wonder? Is it from somewhere deep inside me? Is it from somewhere outside myself? Who or What is talking to me?"

Discovering the answers to these questions begins the journey into a feeling of well-being and deep peace that I believe we all want, long for, and are seeking. Yet, in my experience, many of us are going about it backwards. Not that we mean to be going in the wrong direction, mind you. It’s more like this: as little kids we were led to this exciting-looking merry-go-round and were told, Here’s the answer to being happy, kid. Get on this, spin around, and you’ll be happy. And so we did.

Years later, when we begin to question this merry-go-round that is now looking a bit weary from wear (including ourselves), we begin to wonder if maybe we were unsuspectingly sold a bill of goods way back when. But knowing we can’t do anything about that decision now, we wonder
