11 November 2010 The UP POLITICA is a non-sectarian, non-partisan, duly recognized student organization of bona fide political science majors of the University of the Philippines - Diliman. Its main thrust is to forward the genuine study of political science as a discipline. To achieve this aim, UP POLITICA annually holds public forums on issues that make the everyday news. This year, the organization will undertake a series of public lecture-discussions, collectively to be known as Strictly Political Science. These will be discussions that involve resource speakers and students, which preferably will showcase analysis of issues, from a political science perspective. The third public lecture-discussion will talk about the effect of the Chinese exchange rate policy on Southeast Asian economies. It will be held on 09 December 2010, from 1:00 PM to 4PM at Palma Hall 207. In this regard, we would like to invite your class to attend the forum.
