The weekly newsletter is on hiatus for the week as Im off to Picton for work and wont have the

resources to throw together our weekly digest. In the mean time here a few highlights and things to check out this week: Louisa Walls marriage equality bill was drawn from the Members ballot this week to much fanfare, voice your opinion on our Facebook poll. Our pub quiz team was back in action again this week, narrowly missing out on the cash by one point to finish fourth. Join us when we next attend on Monday 13 August. Super Rugby tipping comes to an end this week with the Chiefs v Sharks final. Congratulations to John Brinsley-Pirie who has an unassailable lead at the top. A round up to come next week. Were busy tidying up membership, so if you havent renewed please do so now, and new Members are encouraged to also join now. Keep an eye out for our Invercargill trip in August and our Queenstown trip in September. Also for those interested, the NZ Young Nats Ball will be held on October 13 this year in Auckland. Short and sharp this week, let me know what you think. Go the Chiefs, and best of luck to all our Olympic athletes.

Cheers, James Meager Chair
