Welcome back to school! As your teachers, we are so excited to help you become the best learners you can be. In order for us to do this, we need you to show GECKO (Graciousness, Excellence, Citizenship, Kindness, Observance) behavior at all times. Below is an example of our behavior meter and the consequences that coincide with each color: Purple Green Yellow Orange Red Double Red (Morning/Afternoon) GECKO card! Great jobalmost there! Everyone starts their day on yellow. By showing GECKO behavior, you can earn a move up the meter. When you dont show GECKO Behavior Refocus Form behavior, you move down the meter. If you move down to red, you will fill out Name:______________________________________________ a refocus form in class. Our hope is Grade: ___ Date:___________ Time:____________ that this time to refocus will allow you to get back on track. Whats going to happen if you do this again? This gives you the chance to earn up to two GECKO cards a day, in addition to ___________________________________________ other cards you can earn by showing GECKO behavior during transitions, the cantina, outside, and in the classroom! You will receive the GECKO cards that you earn each morning from the previous day. It is your responsible to keep track of them; they will not be replaced if they are misplaced. Every other Friday, you will have the chance to redeem your GECKO cards for a special prize or treat for every 20 that you accumulate. Your GECKO cards will then contribute towards whole class rewards. We expect to see all of you succeed and your behavior in school greatly affects your ability to learn.
