    Oracle eBS architecture

    Processes runs on machines(servers) and provides particular functionality. All these processes are spread in different levels or tiers (multi tiered) which support oracle ebs products. Example Web services it processes HTTP request Forms Server processes requests related to oracle forms Concurrent processing server handles programs that runs in the background

    A tier It is a logical grouping of services thay may potentially spread on more than one machine.
