PROCEDIMIENTO PARA SUMINISTRO DE MEDICAMENTOS

Para Montessori British School la salud, el bienestar y la seguridad de sus hijos es de vital importancia, por esta razn hemos decidido tomar medidas estrictas con respecto al suministro de medicamentos. A continuacin describimos el procedimiento a seguir: 1. Enviar la frmula mdica con las indicaciones del Doctor. 2. El medicamento debe venir marcado en el frasco, mediante un sticker en tinta indeleble con los siguientes datos: Nombre del estudiante. Curso. Dosis Hora indicada Especificaciones (si debe o no ser refrigerado). Cualquier otra indicacin especial (por cuntos das debe suministrarse). Firma de los padres. La informacin anterior debe ser escrita en letra imprenta legible. 3. Por NINGN motivo, el medicamento deber ser enviado en la maleta o lonchera del estudiante, ste debe ser entregado a la auxiliar de la ruta o personalmente en la recepcin del colegio. 4. Si el medicamento no tiene las especificaciones antes descritas, la auxiliar de la ruta o la recepcionista se abstendrn de recibirlo. MEDICINE SUPPLY PROCEDURE

For Montessori British School, the health, well-being and security of your children is of vital importance. It is for this reason that we have decided to take strict measures regarding medicines supply. Please find the specific medicine procedure below:

1. You must provide a copy of the Doctor's prescription with medicine instructions. 2. The medicine must be sent with a sticker on the bottle. Please write the following information on the sticker, using permanent ink. Name of the student. Grade. Dosage Indicated time Specifications (if it should or shouldn't be refrigerated). Any other special indications (how many days it should be taken for). Parents signature. The above mentioned information has to be written clearly, in capital letters. 3. If the medication does not come with proper instructions and does not have a doctors prescription, WE CANNOT GIVE IT TO THE STUDENT. 4. The medication SHOULD NOT be sent with the child in his or her backpack or lunch bag. It has to be given to the bus driver or brought to school in person and given to an adult. We appreciate your cooperation and fulfillment of this procedure.
