What is meant by selfishness?

Selfishness is denoted by putting concern with oneself or concern with one's own interests above concern for the interest of others.

Features of Selfishness
Think about oneself Not aware of the surroundings Do things that will benefit for themselves. What I am doing is always right Not interested in helping others or others feelings Creates a boundary around You make for yourself Only use the word me itself

Transformation

To create a better collective existence we must abandon the selfish nature of the ego & adopt a deeper awareness of selflessness.
Before thinking about "me", we need to think about "us".

The life of every person contains the life of all..

WHAT IS MEANT BY

= Acting with less concern for yourself than for the success of the joint activity = The quality of unselfish concern for the welfare of others

Helping others Not being possessive Think about others Sharing mentality Lack of self regarding desires You make for others Almost use the word we or all

If you genuinely want to help other people, then acting on that desire is selfless not selfish

Eg:

Social workers Nurses Medical doctors Teachers Family councilors Priests

Your love for you selfish love And Others love for you selfless love

If you are fully busy, caring and loving others.. then you are free to fully absorb and enjoy all the savory love from others
