Metis Partners has been appointed to undertake the marketing and sale of the Intellectual Property (IP) Assets relating to Elonics Limited (in Liquidation)
Business Overview Formed in 2003 and based in Scotland, Elonics is a fabless semiconductor company specialising in the design, manufacture and sale of multi-band radio frequency (RF) IC products. The Companys focus has been on the high growth silicon tuner market, creating products that address many of the problems in the next generation of high performance terrestrial and cable TV applications. The Elonics family of silicon tuner products is targeted at high performance terrestrial and cable TV broadcast applications such as television, set top box and tuner modules and incorporate the Companys DigitalTune technology. Elonics innovative technology allows manufacturers to design high performance multi-band TV and radio receivers with unrivalled power consumption and low system cost. Elonics products incorporate eco-friendly design, delivering high levels of performance whilst minimising power consumption. Products Multi-Band RF Tuner (E4000) Low Power Cable and Terrestrial TV RF Tuner (E4005) E9100, a fourth generation prototype

E4000 has been in manufacture for 18 months with sales of over 350,000 being made. Pilot production of E4005 has been successful and around 1000 sales have been made. IP Assets for Sale Nine patent families providing coverage in territories worldwide; Unregistered Trademarks Organisational Knowledge, including White papers, Quality Management System and Invention disclosure reports Documentation relating to the Companys silicon tuner products including product briefs, datasheets, specifications, complete schematic and layout databases and test reports Customer and prospects database; and Domain names and the Elonics branded website
