MINDSET
Publisher House: Random House Author: Carol Dweck Publish Date: February 28, 2006
Regardless of the grade or subject you teach, Mindset will give you much to consider as you work with your students each and every day. A quick and easy read, I suspect its impact will be much longer lasting as Mindset challenges all of us to reconsider what it is we think we know about intelligence, motivation, and potential.

New this year!

Beyond the Book is designed to be a forum to come together to think about some of the main principles that are at the root of education today. Whether you are a physics teacher, a kindergarten teacher, an art teacher, or a social studies teacher, were all dealing with many of the same issues facing us as educators. This series will give us the chance to explore topics important to us, but also provide us the chance to get to know each other better as members of the North Colonie community. About the Author
