The data was collected through experiments, i.e., dropped pen, Hurt Leg, and Helping a blind person across the street.
First, all experimenters received both a detailed instruction sheet. Second, the experimenters practiced together. Third, no verbal communication was required of experimenters.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is in the first position Kuala Lampur, Malaysia is in the bottom position. New York City, in the United States is in the bottom two.
Big cities in some economically advanced countries (Vienna, Madrid, Copenhagen) were high on helpfulness, whereas some cities in poorer countries (Kuala Lampur) were the least helpful. The local Culture (simpatia and Simpatico) effect the result. Some individualistic places were relatively helpful.
Data Source is not reliable. Other information of the pedestrians is needed to qualify the data. The specific location where the data taken is not mention.
The result of the study is ambiguous. the result does not represent the entire city or nation.
