THE CHANGES IN THE WORLDS STATUS QUO

Everything has been said.
Everything has been done.
Nothing more to be said
Nothing more to be done.
The sun has set long ago.
Only the moon appears in half
fully red, thirsty for blood.
The lion in the desert
has began to roar
hidden behind the bush.
And the man is howling
in the concrete jungle.
The big Bear extinguished
on the ill faded red snow,
an attempt to revive her
by McDonhas failed.

FROM AFFAR
Beyond the mountains, beyond the hills
where the eye cannot see
beyond the wild endless sea
travels my thought with golden wings.
It travels faster than the wind
back to the land of melody
familiar places seeking to see
bringing to me sweet memories.
It flaps around the old neighborhood
where I played in my childhood,
down the creek and the lagoon
where shown the silvery moon.
And on my mothers grassy grave
comes to a halt and starts to weep.
The cold tombstone begins to feel
embracing stone its own heart beat.
Back comes to me swift and strong
as if I never had left home.

TOMORROW
Tomorrow is the beginning
of the rest of my life
so, today I ought to live
for tomorrow I may die.
And if tomorrow will be today,
once more I ought to live
in that tomorrow I am not certain
if I shall live.
And if tomorrow will come
and see again the bright sun,
I shall live over and over
until tomorrow no more will come.

FROM AFFAR
Beyond the mountains, beyond the hills
where the eye cannot see
beyond the wild endless sea
travels my thought with golden wings.
It travels faster than the wind
back to the land of melody
familiar places seeking to see
bringing to me sweet memories.
It flaps around the old neighborhood
where I played in my childhood,
down the creek and the lagoon
where shown the silvery moon.
And on my mothers grassy grave
comes to a halt and starts to weep.
The cold tombstone begins to feel
embracing stone its own heart beat.
Back comes to me swift and strong
as if I never had left home.

THE FIVE-FOOT GIANT

The huge dragons came out
for a stroll in the streets of Peking,
to disband the famished
of democracy.
The earth trembles under the feet
of the heavy beasts.
Deadly fire issues
from their muzzles and lips.
While the hungry students shake
at the sight of the beasts,
a five-foot youngster
crosses the trembling street.
His pace is steady
and he looks alofthe fears not the monstersand in front of one he stops.
The monster in perplexity
brings its self to a halt,
and as in a miracle
keeps its muzzle closed.
The five foot giant
climbs upon the monsters spine,
its mane caresses with kindness,
he utters words of courage.
Down to the trembling earth,
the giant rests his feet,
face to face comes again
with the motionless fiercely beast.
But the wind blows harsh and strong
and pushes the youngster away,
away from the fiercely beast,
far, far away.
The huge dragon moves again,
stoles the streets without shame
and under its heavy feet
crushes the famished of Democracy.

THE TREES OF TIANNANMEN SQUARE

A new breeze came in the month of June
and on the concrete streets of the busy town,
thousands of trees and aromatic plants
have sprouted all around.
Will the farmer nurture them?
Will he cut them down?
The trees stand against the wind,
the sun is burning their leaves,
hey stand against all the odds
hoping for some rain to fall.
Will the farmer nourish them?
Will he cut them down?
Heavy, heavy clouds have covered
the sky of the busy town.
The doves have flown away from the trees,
away from the busy town.
The wind breaks strong
and shakes the trees,
the plants have bend and gave away,
tree leaves are scattered
all around the town.
Will the farmer nurture them?
Will he burn them down?

The farmer with fire tools

the trees and plants he is burning down.
