Design and Implementation of a Home Embedded Surveillance System with Ultra Low Alert Power

INTRODUCTION In this project home embedded surveillance system with ultra low power we can save power where as traditional surveillance system suffer from an unnecessary waste of power & short comings of memory conditions in absence of invasion.

DESCRIPTION In traditional surveillance system if there is no intruders, sensing device which continuous to work & consumes much power. This surveillance system has 2 groups of sensors indoor & outdoor. Outdoor sensor consists of PIR & IR based opto coupler. If anyone of this sensor is sensed its information will be send to the controller. Depending upon this, the controller starts the power supply for indoor sensors. Indoor sensors consist of PIR sensor, ultrasonic pulse sensor. If intruders, enters in this area, then the sensor will send this information to the controller & the controller will transmit signal to computer. In computer a small application will be running, which starts web camera and capture the image & upload these captured images to web page through internet. User can view this images captured by home surveillance system through internet.
