IFAW Omnibus Culling of Grey Seals October 2012

Q1.

Fish stocks off Canadas Atlantic coast have been in decline for many years. Many fishermen believe that this is because seals are eating too many fish. However, there is no scientific evidence that killing seals will actually lead to any recovery of fish stocks. The Government of Canada is considering a large-scale cull of grey seals in the Atlantic. This could mean killing over 140,000 grey seals. Do you strongly support, somewhat support, somewhat oppose or strongly oppose this government-funded cull of grey seals?
