As you know, this year marks the 150th birth anniversary of our great personage Swami Vivekananda that needs to be celebrated in a manner appropriate to his universally respected stature as a world teacher, thinker, leader, prophet, pathfinder and empathizer of humanity. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, has planned to celebrate this special occasion of his 150th birth anniversary to promote interest, particularly among youth in Swamijis values, thoughts and ideals by organising a Special Southern Regional Youth Convention for the youth delegates of Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh from 29th to 31st January 2013. The Registration form and information for delegates are attached hereto. Please motivate and encourage your students, wards and staff members (16-30 years) to take part in the convention and let them also be benefited by participating in the various intellectual, social and cultural programmes organised for the youth and become part of 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda. Note : You may, if necessary, make as many photostat copies as you may need to share with your students. 1) Rs.100/- will be charged as delegate fee. 2) To & Fro expenses will be reimbursed only when original bills of the actual expenses are submitted. (Non A/c; Non Volvo Bus or 2nd class sleeper Railway travel expenses are only permitted for reimbursement) 3) Wardens (Escorts) who accompany their wards can preferably be from 16-30 years of age so that they can avail the above privilege. 4) Wardens (Escorts) more than 30 years of age who accompany 75 wards can also avail the above privilege (i.e. 1 warden for 75 wards) 5) Enrolment on first-come basis (a total of 1500 delegates).
