THE BEAUTY OF SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT: ART AND MATHEMATIC

Claudia Georgia Sabba Universidade Nove de Julho-UNINOVE cgsabba@uninove.br
The fragmentation of the overall knowledge into more defined and specialized fields of study, highly contributed to the disintegration of education as a whole. Wisdom and knowledge have thus been passed on to students through specific teaching subjects, gradually extinguishing the broader edification view. Consequently, the whole education process became stagnant and strenuous. It is through Leonardo Da Vincis literature that we learn how interested and knowledgeable one can be in several areas of study without ever having frequented an educational institution as we define it today. The objective here is to create a more integrated model of study which equally incorporates the values of Arts and Sciences Key words: Scientific development, Art, Mathematic, Knowledge, Leonardo Da Vinci.

INTRODUCTION Leonardo Da Vinci has implemented a holistic approach to education, connecting the universal space around us to the animal and human physiology. In addition, his ideology suggests a large philosophical integration, which contributes to the creation of a large and complete knowledge system. Guided by Leonardo Da Vincis principles of study, this research has the objective of building a solid connection between Mathematics and Art. The goal is to offer students the ability to create and innovatively construct within the fragmented educational system currently in place. References D'Ambrosio, U. (1990).
