OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 1 Establishing Standing Committees
WHEREAS, the Prime Movers Society is in need of an organized system in the distribution of tasks of both the members and the officers for the implementation of activities, projects, and programs; WHEREAS, there shall be Standing Committees to assist the officers in the implementation of all agendas in the Prime Movers Society; WHEREAS, there is a need to enact Standing Committees for external and internal operations of the Prime Movers Society; WHEREAS, there is no existing provision for Standing Committees; NOW THEREFORE, I, EDUARD AUNG COLOD KYU JR., President of the Prime Movers Society, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Prime Movers Society Constitution and By-Laws, do hereby establish Standing Committees in the Prime Movers Society. SECTION 1- List of Standing Committees The Standing Committees of the Organization shall be the following: A) B) C) D) E) F) G) Committee on Suggestions and/or Grievances Committee on Budget and Appropriations Committee on Public Relations Committee on Research and Information Committee on Outreach Committee on Welfare and Development Special Committee

SECTION 2- Functions of the Standing Committees shall be the following: A. To assist the Officers within their respective functions as designated in the name of each Committee. B. To infuse members to be involved and to participate in the implementation of all activities, projects, and programs of the Prime Movers Society. SECTION 3- Committee Members A. The members of the Standing Committees shall come from the members of the Prime Movers Society according to the Committee of their choice. B. Each Committee shall be composed of 7-15 members

SECTION 4- Authority over all the Committees The General Administrators of Committees shall be the PMS President SECTION 5- Committee Heads Each Committee shall be headed by a Chairperson and a Deputy Chairperson by the appointment of the PMS President. SECTION 6-Effectivity This Executive Act shall take effect on September 23, 2010 Done this 23rd day of September 2010 at Saint Louis University, Baguio City
