1) Address students with respect 2) Greet students at the door 3) Be a club advisor 4) Support extra curricular activities (go to sports games/plays/concerts/etc) 5) Use appropriate humor in the classroom 6) Have diverse lessons 7) Listen to student concerns/input 8) Give students feedback on assignments/in general 9) Share appropriate information about myself 10) Have a positive attitude every day 11) Be available to provide extra help 12) Open door policy 13) Learn about my students (hobbies/interests/etc) 14) Pay attention to my students (notice little things they may need) 15) Show appreciation for my students and their effort 16) Be polite to students 17) Be positive 18) Be flexible but not so much you get taken advantage of 19) Give students responsibility and support their success 20) Smile 21) Have fun activities games in the classroom 22) Reward students for hard work/good behavior 23) Be consistent 24) Be a positive example 25) Be a leader not a dictator
