Big Idea: WEATHER AND CLIMATE

Strand : ME2 Ba

Assessment Attached ___X____ (check if it

is)

Description
Identify solar radiation as the primary source of energy
that drives the movement of atmospheric gases and
weather phenomena.

Most of the energy that keeps Earth warm

comes from the sun. Draw a diagram that
shows what happens to the suns light energy
as it enters the Earths atmosphere and
strikes the surface of the Earth. Be sure to
relate this to the uneven heating of the Earth
and to the movement of atmospheric gases.
