Extract & Start the Installation
A ZIP file should have downloaded to your computer. To install the DXperience Universal Trial, find this file and extract/unzip the files. You will see two executable files: one for the Universal Trial, and one for CodeRush, a Visual Studio enhancement designed to increase your coding productivity. Once the files are extracted, simply choose the DXperience or CodeRush Installer file to get started with the installation. 1. CodeRush shortcuts may change expected behavior. For example, the space bar expands templates, the Tab key navigates among references, and clipboard contents may be enhanced on paste. 2. CodeRush visually enhances the IDE, which includes structural highlighting, member icons, code issues, flow break icons, and Action Hints (arrows containing text) that appear the first few times a feature is used.

About the CodeRush Download and Install

CodeRush is a high-performance add-in to Visual Studio designed to accelerate developer productivity. CodeRush changes the Visual Studio IDE by adding keyboard shortcuts, enhancing the editor experience and adding a DevExpress menu to Visual Studio. More specifically:

Choose the Trial

The DXperience Universal and CodeRush Installers come with both the Trial version and registeration-required version. To install the Trial Version, click or touch the Trial Version button on the left, as shown here.
