What is Inkjet Technology

Digital tiles are printed by a revolutionary method, glazing them in a similar way to the printing of a magazine. The colours are digitally selected and injected into the tile. This replaces the traditional methods of screens or a rollerprinter. So what happens is the original marble, stone, onix etc... is scanned and digitally stored. The printer randomly selects parts of the original and prints the tiles. Each piece is different and its very natural looking. The end result is a perfect copy of the original. Patterns of endless variation and incredible reproduction of the marble or stone that they imitate. This close reproduction and depth of design makes it look like the real thing. Moreover, as the glaze is injected, it reaches high and low points on the tile, to the very edge! So no "white frames" or need to rectify the tile.
