CITY CHARTER AMENDMENT 4:
Shall the Flagler Beach Charter be
amended to change the term of office
for the Mayor and Commissioners to
three years and stagger the terms so

seats are on the ballot at one time,
except for transitional terms, and the
terms shall begin at the next regularly
scheduled meeting following the
certified elections, and provided for
transitional terms to incorporate the

amended such that the procedure for
filling a vacancy of the Office of the
Mayor requires a resolution of a
unanimous vote of the remaining
members of the Commission. This
new Mayor shall serve until the next
municipal election, whereby the voters
shall elect a Mayor to serve the
