The organizing process consists of the following six steps: 1. Establishing enterprise objectives. 2. Formulating supporting objectives, policies, and plans. 3. Identification and classification of required activities. 4. Grouping of activities in light of resources and situations.

5. Delegation of authority 6. Horizontal and vertical coordination of authority and information relationships.
