GSM NETWORK CONTROLLED FIRE DETECTION ROBOT CONTROL FOR INDUSTRIAL SAFETY ABSTRACT

AIM: The main objective of this project is to develop an embedded system, which is GSM network controlled fire detection robot for industrial safety.

IMPLEMENTATION: This project is implemented 8051 based At89s52 developed board interfaced with GSM modem, Fire sensor and H-Bridge driver and motors.

DESCRIPTION: A Robot can be of any type to manufacture. Even though the robot can do anything, it is a useless thing if it is uncontrollable. Here, controlling a robot is main task by arranging a gas detector circuit on the embedded platform which is arranged on the robot. Our present project discusses controlling the robot by GSM Network. In this project we are going to develop an embedded system, which will control fire detection robot control with commands from a Remote device (our mobile) through GSM communication. GSM modem is used to communicate and respond to the remote commands and those commands are sent to the micro controller via RS 232 communication means MAX232 chip. The fire sensor which is mounted on the embedded microcontroller board continuously detects for any fire. Whenever fire is detected, the buzzer which we arranged on the board will ring to alert. The system uses a compact circuitry build around flash version of AT89S52 microcontroller with a non volatile memory Programs are developed using Embedded C, compiled using RIDE tool. ISP is used to dump the code into microcontroller.

SOFTWARE: Embedded C RIDE to write code ISP to burn the chip

HARDWARE: At89s52 based our own developed board Power Supply GSM modem Fire sensor H-Bridge driver Motors

ADVANTAGES: Low cost, automated operation, Low Power consumption.
