Summary of Inspection: This roof was inspected for storm related damage. Wind damage consisted of a large area of completely missing shingles on left slope of roof. Contractor had made a temporary repair to this and many other areas on roof. Contractor had covered the large area of missing shingles with a tarp and applied new felt paper on the roof deck. The area under the tarp was inspected by us and damage was verified. Homeowner also provided a picture of the contractor working on roof where shingles were missing. The chimney area had several missing tabs on both sides of chimney. All main slopes had wind damage and cut/marred shingles from flying debris. The contractor had repaired/replaced several of these areas as well. Several areas of ridge vent/ridge cap shingles had been blown off by wind and contractor had felted over these areas. We inspected these areas and verified the shingles were missing under the felt paper. One skylight (22X47) had flashing damage and scratches on it from flying debris. Two 9 sections of fascia were damaged on the front on the house. There was no hail related damage to report for this roof. There is no other damage to report for this roof.
